MERRILLVILLE, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (fema) announced today that a mobile disaster Recovery Center (DRC) serving various Lake County locations will make a stop in Hobart to assist residents who suffered damages from severe storms and flooding that occurred in the area Aug. 15-27.

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. — More than $500,000 in federal loans has been approved for individuals and families in Lake County who were affected by the August storms and flooding, but officials with the U. S. Small business Administration (SBA), the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (fema) believe many qualified residents have not yet registered or have not yet returned their SBA loan application.
Final Days to Register for disaster Assistance
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Only a few days remain for homeowners, renters, and business owners in Brooklyn and Queens who experienced damages from the August 8 storms and flooding to register for disaster assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (fema).
